EZ Mount Test Bench

This episode is all about testing the EZ mount. I really like this thing, and it is really effective. It could cost anywhere from like $20 to $200 to buy a special cardellini clamp, or mafer clamp to do the same job. Seriously, check it out yourself. Everything I show in this episode is real footage shot with a flip cam mounted on the EZ mount in different situations. I think this is a great tool for a any filmmakers bag of tricks.

Perspective and scale video: Pontiac GTO test

I have always wanted to play with scale and see if I could actually put myself next to some of my Danbury Mint muscle cars. The only part that made it hard was focal issues. There was no way to get everything in focus and pull the video off. I guess i could of found a infinite focus balance between everything, but then everything would of been soft which would of sucked. So instead I just did a little more editing to make it work.

Gurilla camcorder holder

This is a gurilla video I'm sharing from my producer pal Nextraker. Check it out!

As quoted from his youtube page.
"Convert a regular goose neck lamp into a Flexible Cam Holder... Its very simple to make one of these, just watch the video to get an idea of how it works. No more shaking cam, No more darkness... Try it!"

DUDE GETS HIT BY TRUCK

Ok....so this is a fake video. I had fun playing around and making a video that is a parody of reality. The Big Hokey doesn't even retail in America and I don't know why i ever decided to enter this idea for that that stupid contest. I should have won since the video has recieved more hits than anyone else in New Zealand who entered the contest. But who knows what wapid.com was thinking.
